Service Description

Composting is the single most cost-effective way to enrich garden bed soil and reduce weed pressure. Composting, also known as "top-dressing" is the addition of compost to the top of the soil and spread around plants. Adding this rich layer of organic matter to the garden each year ensures soil microbes have enough "food" for the soil ecosystem to remain healthy. And you can't have healthy plants without a healthy soil ecosystem. As an added benefit, a dark-colored compost makes plants stand out and reduces the ability for weed seeds to sprout.
